We do not keep any personal information on our visitors, nor do we attempt to track individuals through our site in any fashion. We believe strongly in the right of web surfers to maintain their anonymity.

When making a purchase through our online store, you must supply enough information for us to validate a credit card and ship your order. However, credit card information is not stored permanently on our system for your protection, unless you create a customer account expressly for this purpose. We do not keep your information, either electronically or in hard copy, once your transaction has been processed.

Cookies

With one exception, we do not use cookies within the nutrisearch.ca web site. Period.

However, if you wish to make a purchase from our online store, we will need to install a temporary cookie on your system. This is simply to keep track of your information during the transaction process and does not collect any personal information. It assigns your browser an anonymous number so that your shopping basket contents will not disappear during your stay. Once you have completed your purchase or leave the online store, the cookie expires.

We will never collect any personal information through cookies. Your trust is far more important to us than any convenience we might gain.

Server Logs

We do maintain server logs, which record your IP (Internet Protocol) address and other information about your session on our web site. No personal information is gathered. We do not attempt to link your IP address to any other personal information about you, nor do we have any desire to do so.

When you request a page from any web server, it requires your IP address, which—just like your mailing address—is your "location" on the Internet. Without the server knowing your IP address, you could not receive web pages from any web site.
